STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH TVR

BSA - TVR IN MOTION AT THE JAPAN GT CHYAMPIONSHIP 2002 AT SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

A day Filled with action, 22nd June 2002 marks another commemorative date in the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) as it coincided its race with the popular Japan GT Championship, Malaysian leg.  It was definitely a historical event for the twenty participants in the 2002 Malaysian Super Series - Super Cars Race 1.

BSA tied up with TVR for this series in its support race.  the BSA - TVR Motorsports team was spotted with a BSA corporate coloured TVR Chimera and its professional driver, Mr Jimmy Low, was seen clad in the BSA Motorsports suit.

It was a neck to neck challenge at the Sepang International Circuit from the start of the race.  The revving of the engines with split seconds dashes across the pits gave the audience a heart stomping feel.  A yellow and green car, bearing  the  numbers  88,  had  clocked  in  a  substantial

distance from Ron Lim Poh Ann till the second last lap.  then the unforeseen happened!  A tyre blew and Jimmy Low had to maneuver the TVR Chimera with the remaining three tyres for the last two laps.

As the professional driver that  he  is,  Jimmy managed to
