BSA again made headline with its involvement in the Malaysian Super Series, sponsoring professional driver Jimmy Low in the 1,600 c.c. category in a corporate colored, yellow Honda Civic decorated proudly with BSA logos.  Jimmy Low emerged champion in the Super Sixteen Series Championship Race (1,600 c.c. category) in the Honda Civic sporting BSA VSCA alloy wheels model 231, the quality of which is once again proven.

An exciting day unveils at the tracks in Sepang International Circuit (SIC).  The morning saw an array of Porsche cars at the track with Porsche members from both Malaysia and Singapore vying their skills against each other.  BSA Group Executive Chairman, Dato Dr Cam Soh is among many of the members present with excellent timing in his black Porsche sporting BSA 215 VSCA (EAGLE ROCK) alloy wheels, 18" x8.0" for the front and 18" x11.0" for the rear.  His manoeuvre likens that of a Japan GT Championship driver.

At the end of the day, all were treated to a sumptuous dinner at the Imperial Sheraton, Kuala Lumpur, complete with a variety of local entertainers and also a fashion show.

In the process of its listing exercise this year, BSA has attracted numerous news media coverage with a never ending list of exciting events and was constantly in the limelight.  It all started with the participation in the Formula One league, sponsoring KLMinardiF1Team.  Thereafter, there was the opening ceremony of its fourth plant in Rawang officiated y YAB Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi Bin Hj. Ahamd, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia; announcement of its listing prospect; launching of BSAI prospectus; balloting of BSAI shares and the launch of its new range of products, the Gold & Black Knight series.
