PERT is continuing their good run in international rallies this year when their drivers, who else but our own Flying Sikh, Karamjit Singh together with CO-driver Allen Oh sit top of the overall standing for the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship 2001. In China recently, both of them driving the Proton PERT 4 WD, finished winners in Group N but were second overall by a very small margin of 2 seconds. At a press conference organised by PERT and EON to welcome back the heroes, Karamjit said that though it was a good result, the 2 seconds difference between them and them and the winners was frustrating . However, he is so |

| determined to win the last rally of the year, Rally of Thailand, APRC Round 6, scheduled to take place at the end of December. A win will enable Karamjit to be the first man to win it three times in a row. Though he only needs to finish second to become overall champion, a determined Karamjit is in no mood to relax .
Also present at the press conference to congratulate them were PERT's team manager, Datuk Abdul Razak Dawood and EON Managing Director, Datuk Adzmi Abdu Wahab. PERT used BSA custom made rally wheels for the race, model BSA 803. |

FERRARI - MASERATI TRACK DAY 2001
On 27th October 2001, Malaysians and Singaporeans Ferrari / Maserati owners had their chance to test skills and car capabilities at the Sepang F1 International Circuit when Next Car Sdn. Bhd. and Hong Seh Motor Pte. Ltd .organised a Ferrari - Maserati Track Day of 2001. This event which was specially held for the owners of the two most powerful car brands in the world attracted almost 100 Ferraris and Maseratis. It was quite a scene when all owners paraded their cars to the envy of those who were there. BSA alloy wheels were also on display attracting interest from the car owners with our BSA Eagle Rock VSC model. The event was a colourful one as Ferrari and Maseratis of different makes and colours blast through the renowned Sepang track. Not to be outdone was our Group Executive Chairman in his Ferrari Modena speeding laps after laps in quick time .Using BSA Eagle Rock VSC, the car was fantastic, showing what a great car combined with BSA's quality alloy wheels can do for you. The day ended with a mini race held for those daring enough to push their car to the limit. Luckily crashes were sparred except for minor hiccups. By 5.00p.m., everyone was leaving happy and mesmerized by their recent spellbinding escapade.

Steady Dato'!! |
