An accord with the 2001 JAPAN G.T. CHAMPIONSHIP which will be held in Sepang F1 circuit from 22th to 24th June 2001, we are proud to announce our participation as the main sponsor for one of the Japan G. T. racing car i.e. Porsche 933 Carrera which will be driven by a Malaysian racer. The objective of BSA involvements to promote a new era for Malaysians motorsports.

This car will be sporting BSA corporate colour that is Yellow and Green. Yellow depicting loyalty while Green depicts our company as environmental friendly. This will further promote awareness of BSA corporate identity and BSA quality alloy wheels.

In crafting a specialty of BSA involvement in the Japan G. T. Championship, quality of BSA made alloy wheels will be further proven in the race where both Porsche is equipped with BSA- Eagle Rock 18" x 10" alloy wheels. Added to the recent development of its Vacuum Sputtering Coating (VSC) Aluminium finishing technology, alloy wheels are coated with a finishing that have the bright shining looks.

Yang Berhormat Datuk Ong Tee Keat, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Malaysia, will officially launch "BSA Porsche Team Competizione" on 25th May 2001 at Twelve SI Complex, Kuala Lumpur.

OFFICIAL LAUNCHING OF BSA PORSCHETEAM COMPETIZIONE For all motor sports fans, the 2001 Japan G.T. Championship is just around the corner.  Here is an opportunity to be at the Sepang F1 Circuit on June 22nd - 24th to feel the excitement and see our Porsche Team blaze through the track.  The BSA Porsche Team Competizione was launched on the 25th May 2001 (Friday) at the Twelve S.I. Complex, Kuala Lumpur.  This event was covered  TV3, RTM and local newspapers and sport magazine. Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Y. B. Datuk Ong Tee Keat, while launching the event said he was glad that a 100 percent Malaysian company, BSA is supporting the race.  He also hoped that it will help facilitate the exchange of Malaysian-Japanese motor sports culture and technology in the future. The BSA Porsche Team Competizione will be competing in the GT300 race.  BSA will also participate in the 'Supercar Parade', to be held in conjunction with the 2001 Japan GT Championship. TAKE A BREAK! BSA group of Companies will be organising a 1-day company trip to witness and support our BSA Porsche Team in the Japan G. T Championship on the 24thJune 2001 at the Sepang International F1 Circuit.  Approximately 150 staff will be there with our company t-shirt, caps and flags to give our moral support to our team on that day.

The Asian Festival of Speed (AFOS), the region's biggest motor sports  event.  It consists of three categories of race; the Asian Touring Car Championship, Asian Formula 2000 for single seater and the one - make Porsche Asian Challenge (GT Cars).

The   PCHK  Johore   round  was  held  on   17th  -   20th  of  May   2001.     BSA Porsche Team Competizione has participated in the Porsche Asian Challenge (Class B) and we are proud  to announce that our car came in third in Round 1 and second in Round 2.
