On the 18th.October 2001, a press conference was held to announce BSA's involvement as one of the main sponsor of the Sahabat EON - MFA Treasure Hunt 2001 organised by EON and MFA. The press conference was held in EON's Board of Directors meeting room at EON Office Complex, Glennmarie . BSA's Business Development Manager, En.Saiful Rais bin Shaiks Salim handed over BSA's mock cheque to EON's Managing Director, Datuk Adzmi Abdul Wahab. The sponsorship valued at RM 30,900.00. |

BSA WHEELS HUNTED!!!
BSA became one of the main sponsors in the recent Malaysia Book of Records event, the Sahabat EON - MFA Hunt 2001. This event, officially confirmed as setting a new record for the most treasure hunt participants with 604 cars had broken the previous record of 481 cars set in year 1999. It was indeed a glorious moment for BSA and those involved in the hunt as it was by all means a great feat to be cherished. This treasure hunt competition was jointly organised by EON and Malaysia Franchise Association (MFA). The treasure hunters had to endure tough, mind-boggling questions and hot weather from Shah Alam, Selangor to Malacca. Nevertheless, all were seen willing and were clearly enjoying their journey.
The treasure hunters were eager to flex their brains and wits as they flocked in as early as 4.30 am at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam parading their cars showcasing BSA's corporate logo stickers upfront .They flagged off at 7.45 am by National Economic Action Council Executive Director, Datuk Mustapa Mohamed and some even managed to clocked back in Dataran Seri Negeri, Malacca at 12.00pm earliest.
At night, participants were treated to a dinner and some local cultural performance at the Dewan Dataran Seri Negeri. Prizes were also presented to winners by Malacca Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam with the presence of EON Managing Director Datuk Adzmi Abdul Wahab.21 sets of BSA alloy wheels were given to the lucky winner and clearly BSA wheels were the most favored prize in the lucky draws. Certificate of appreciation were also handed out to the main sponsors including BSA. The delightful evening adjourned at almost midnight.
