Thinking of buying a new car? Then why not the new KIA Spectra, the first locally assembled KIA modelthat was officially launched recently by our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad at the Naza Motors Sdn Bhd's office in Petaling Jaya.
Why KIA Spectra?
Well, first it has BSA wheels on it! BSA has been selected as the alloy wheels supplier for this new model which is guaranteed to be value for money. By assembling it locally, Malaysia is the first country to assemble the Spectra outside South Korea, where KIA orginated. The DRB-HICOM Group in Pekan, Pahang is now assembling the cars for Naza KIA under a two-year contract.
So, What' so great about this new KIA Spectra?
At first glance, there might not be much difference between the locally assembled Spectra and the imported ones. However, with its low selling price at about RM8,000.00, one can expect to get more that what he could bargain for. With leather seats and a 10-CD Changer as its additional features, it also offers an attractive benefit in terms of fuel consumption. It consume 8 litres of fuel for every 100km travelled. Apart from all the above, there are also other additional package added to this new Spectra. Items such as folding centre console armrest for added storage. remote control central locking, immobiliser alarm system and 4-bulb integrated high-intensity signal headlamp. Wow, that is value for money! |
